Country superstar and songwriter, Chris Janson, was born to entertain crowds. He moved to Nashville straight out of high school. He got his big break in 2012, when he wrote Tim McGraw’s hit song “Truck Yeah”. He wrote over 25 additional hit songs recorded by a long list of country stars and co-wrote with Duff McKagan and Izzy Stradlin, former Guns N’ Roses members.
Janson has been nominated for various awards and won Country Song of the Year (“Buy Me a Boat”) at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in 2016. After “Buy Me a Boat” was released, he dropper two new tracks, the rowdy “Power of Positive Drinkin'” and the sincere “Holdin’ Her”. These are all featured on his full-length debut album, “Buy Me a Boat”.
In early 2017, Janson came back with an even bigger hit, when he released the single “Fix a Drink,” in anticipation of the release of an EP of the same name, which arrived later in July. “Fix a Drink” will also feature on his latest album, Everybody, which will be out on September 22nd, 2017.
Catch him live at this year’s Ocoee Founders’ Day Festival, Friday November 3rd, 2017!
